About Us

Whitchurch Tennis Club is a friendly growing club and is looking forward to welcoming new members whether they are experienced, beginners or just want to get back into tennis. There is also the opportunity to join as a social member only, for those that don’t want to play tennis or don’t have time to play tennis.

With the new facilities at Laverstoke completed in May 2012, they provide 2 newly refurbished courts set in a beautiful location that also includes changing rooms and a refreshment area and bar. Future development of the club will potentially offer a third court with flood lighting.

The courts are available to members seven days a week with organised club nights from late April to September on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6.30pm until dusk. In addition, new organised sessions are currently being planned for Monday and Friday mornings, and a 'rusty rackets' session on Sundays.

In order to enable members to continue playing through the winter months, the club has set up links with Greenacres Sports and Social club, near Newbury enabling members to book and play at agreed special rates.

As an LTA registered club we are able to apply for Wimbledon tickets which are offered to members through a ballot system operated by the LTA The number of tickets allocated to the club is determined by the number of members within the club and individual registration by members for British Tennis Membership (which is free). BTM Link
